Mount Fuji


Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in japan, located on Honshu island at 3776.24 m ( 12,389 ft ). mount Fuji lies about 100 km south-west of Tokyo, and can be seen from there on a clear day. The Japanese people  call Mount Fuji  >> ( Fuji-San )



It has exceptionally symmetrical cone, which is snow-capped several months a year. Its an important symbol of Japan. The current Kanji for mount Fuji mean "wealth" or "abundant" and "a man with a certain status". 
+ It's also surrounded by five lakes:

1- Lake Kawaguchi                                                                 
2- Lake Yamanaka
3- Lake Sai 
4- Lake Motosu
5- Lake Shoji

Festivals in Japan



There are many local festivals ( Matsuri ) in Japan, almost every shrine celebrates their events by themselves. most festivals are held annually and they celebrate for seasonal events, historical events, and for the deity shrine. some of these events are held over several days.

People pulled through the town accompanied by drum and flute music by sitting on the floats, and some people are dancing . some festivals are energetic and noisy, and some of them are calm and meditative.

Japanese Dragon




Japanese dragons are diverse legendary creatures in Japanese truth and folklore. Japanese dragon amalgamate native legends with imported stories about dragons from China, Korea and India. The style of the dragon was heavily influenced by the Chinese dragon. Like these other Asian dragons, most Japanese ones are water deities associated with rainfall and bodies of water and are typically depicted as large, wingless,serpentine creatures with clawed feet.

Karuta Game



The Karuta game is one of the Japanese traditional game .. It's a group of cards divided equally over two players. there is a person sing the first part of poems and the cards have the second part .So, the players have to be attention to the singer and focus on the cards and on the same time they need to move their hands as fast as they can to pick the correct card .
