The Sakura Club is the first cultural club in UAE University, Al Ain, UAE. The club's main goal is to exchange cultures between the UAE and Japan. We aim to explore the Japanese culture and portray the Emirati culture. The club was established on October 6th, 2008 and since then we have conducted and participated in numerous events to further accomplish our goal.

Club’s Teams :
The club is divided into several teams, each carry out a certain function in the club’s work. Each team is composed of a leader and her members. A brief description of each team and its functionality is found below:
- Media Team
The Media Team is responsible of preparing the club’s movies, also responsible of all the graphical designs of the club, and responsible for documenting the events.
- Organization Team
The Organization Team is responsible of organizing and coordinating any events that the club conducts or participates in.
- Public Relations Team
The Public Relations Team is responsible of managing communication between the club and its outside contacts. This team is further divided into Arabic and English sections.
- Web Team
The Web Team is responsible of keeping track of all the club’s online activities. This includes the blog.
